At The Chirpy Box, we offer a free donation pickup service for items that are still in good condition. Our team of local haulers will collect a variety of items, such as clothing, household goods, books, shoes, small appliances, and electronics.Donations are sold through private companies and our website store to generate funds for programs in the fight against hunger. We can pick up your donation within 24 hours in many areas, making it easy and hassle-free to make a positive impact. Thank you for considering us as a partner in your charitable giving.

How to Pack Your Belongings?
Once you have decided on the items you wish to donate, it is important to take the necessary measures to ensure their safe and secure transportation. In particular, clothing donations should be carefully sorted and placed in bags, while fragile household items ought to be wrapped in protective paper and packed in sturdy boxes.
By sorting your clothing donations and placing them in bags, you can make the process of transportation and distribution more efficient. This approach not only allows for easier handling of the items but also helps to minimize the risk of damage or loss during transit.
Similarly, fragile household items such as glassware, ceramics, or other breakable objects require extra care during transportation. By wrapping them in protective paper and placing them in sturdy boxes, you can help to prevent any potential damage or breakage that may occur during handling or transit.
Adopting these simple yet effective measures not only ensures the safety and security of your donations but also reflects your commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Please be advised that we can only accept items that are of a manageable size and weight, such that they can be easily lifted and carried by either one or two persons.
ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS
CLOTHING: Ladies, men’s, kids, children’s, baby, purses, belts, ties, wallets, dresses, shirts, pants, shoes. Virtually all types of Clothing, Shoes, and Accessories.
HOUSEHOLD: Dishes, glasses, silverware, small household appliances, bedding, linens, pillows, draperies, curtains, rugs, jewelry and cosmetics, comforters, home decor, baby items, art and frames.
TOYS: Stuffed animals, board games, dolls, action figures, and sports equipment.
ELECTRONIC: Stereo, radio, Xbox, Nintendo, PlayStation, computers, laptops, monitors, DVD players, cameras, typewriters, TVs and electronics. All types of small kitchen appliances.
BOOKS: Hardcover, softcover, fiction and non-fictions, e-readers.
EQUIPMENT: Exercise equipment: small weight benches, weights, sports gear, Sporting equipment: ski equipment, snowboards, helmets, baseball bats, basket balls, soccer equipment, tennis equipment, Tools: drills, saws, nail guns, Yard tools: lawnmowers, weed eaters, and hand trucks (no fuel of any type please!).
SMALL FURNISHINGS: Mirrors, nightstands, headboards, office chairs, decor and other small home items.
OTHER: Bikes, musical instruments, small filing cabinets, garage sale leftovers, small appliances: microwaves, blenders, toasters, coffee makers, and almost anything else.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED
NO LARGE FURNITURE: Couches, sofas, sleeper couches, box springs and mattresses
NO LARGE APPLIANCES: Washers/dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and stoves
OTHER: Tires, food, any type of fuel, no hazardous materials please.
